Attempting to live by the adage, "To thine own self be true," is
most important to me; and, when coupled with a foundation of
honesty, a gentle manner and approach to dealing with others,

I was
born and raised in the state of Illinois, did my B.A. in Illinois as
well as my M.Ed., and currently reside in Illinois. I lived and
studied for 2 years in Texas to do my M.I.M. degree at Baylor
University. I also lived in Kansas suburbs of Kansas City, Missouri
for 1 year for work, and finally, I lived in Arlington, Virginia, a
suburb of Washington D.C. for 2 years while working for a non-profit
in Arlington.

I'd like
to meet a Japanese woman for friendship first and possible long-term
relationship leading to marriage. While she may be near or far from
my home in Chicagoland, who is she? She is curious and interested in
a lifetime of learning, as well as quietly self-assured and at ease
in social settings ranging from a small dinner party to traveling
across India by train. I am looking for beginning a friendship with
a lady who is honest, gentle, principled, interested in helping the
less-fortunate in our world, intelligent, and attractive (inside and
out!). Perhaps out of friendship, even more will grow… Hope springs
eternal! Once I have met this wonderful woman and we are ultimately
married, my plans are to continue my work on issues of education for
international development and teaching English as a Second Language
(ESL). While my plans are known, I also want for my life-partner to
pursue her passion and dreams in an effort to be true to her self,
allowing for us both to live and share lives of meaning as we travel
the road of life and grow old together.
